California state University San Bernardino
Welcome to Ruth's e-Portfolio
My name is Ruth Lopez, I graduated from Fontana High School back in 1998 and lived in Fontana for most of my life. In 2003 I graduated from California State University San Bernardino with my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. I began the Master’s program back in the Fall of 2003 but in 2006 I had to move to El Paso Texas due to my employment.
I worked at First Light Federal Credit Union for close to five years as a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator. The last five years I worked at Teachers Federal Credit Union also as a Senior Mortgage Loan Originator and the last few months I was a Senior Underwriter for consumer loans.
In the past 10 years I began teaching the Financial Literacy Classes for both credit unions. Finally, after all those years I am back in California! I am ready to finish my Master’s degree.
My main goal is to teach blended or/and online course at college level, that is why I am in the Instructional Technology program at California State University.
Many of my friends would ask me what is Instructional Technology? Well that is great question Instructional Technology is a way to teach and design a course using different learning models and learning theories.
